Milk bath baby

While cake smashes are pretty popular, not all families are inclined to do them. While I enjoy them and think they are super cute,  I understand where they come from. They are messy sessions and then there is the sugar as well. And some babies just don't like cake. Some parents find other food items to use instead. Watermelon is a big one (I like this option more for second birthdays) I have also seen spaghetti, pancakes, donuts, tacos, and ice cream as alternatives to cake. But there other options as well. This one is personal favorite of mine and one that doesn't happen all too often. So when moms suggest it, I get very excited about it! Milk bath baby sessions. Not only are they great for first year celebrations but also for mile stone sitter sessions like 6 months. Milk baths create a stunning visual. A small tub is filled with milk. Some photographer use carton of milk or powder milk. Some actually use mothers breast milk. I use a milk powder as it is hypoallergenic. A

Maternity Gowns

Those of you who have had children related sessions with me most likely knows about Mich and her store full of picture perfect props in Welland. Families often come in with oneies or tu-tus, necklaces and headbands are the most common. I myself have often purchased props for the studio. Most recently some beautiful bonnets and floral crowns. But did you know she now offers much more then just props for children. Mich has always offered maternity sashes in her store but now she also has some beautiful gowns for rent as well. And of course some stunning floral crowns, which are not only great for maternity sessions, but also mommy and me! Maternity gowns are amazing for sessions. They are designed to look good for photography purposes and to look flattering on mommas to be. Mich and I did a model call to highlight some of the beautiful gowns she offers in her store. We had two stunning models! Karen and Erica who both totally rocked their sessions! You can rent gowns from myself or

Easter minis

Another holiday mini set has come and gone. Easter minis were amazing this year! I had bunnies in the studio again. Caramel and Hopscotch were happy to play props for the occasion and were probably some of the best bunnies I have ever had in the studio. This was my fourth time using bunnies. (I had chick last year but Easter has to fall on a certain time for that work due to the time chickies are born.) I had 80+ families visit the studio for their sessions. We also had an amazing turn out for donations for Project share, which is no surprise to me. I have amazing clients who love to donate. And Project share is also so happy when I call them. Thank you again to everyone who came to visit the bunnies and thank you to those who donated. The next donation time will be November and December for Christmas. There were a lot of people who were inquiring after the sessions were done. So you don't miss out on any of the sessions and specials I offer, sign up for my newsletter. It g
