An open house vendor show!

Vendor shows, craft shows, whatever you prefer to call them, I love them. They are a great way to help get your name out there, get involved with your community and reach out to potential new clients. They are also a great way to network with like minded business.

It was a vendor show around Easter this spring that I met France, co-owner of Gems for You, a jewelry company with interchangeable, snap gems, allowing you customize your jewelry. You are able to mix and match pieces to go with every outfit in your closet.

I have been working for Gems for You for several months now, photographing their wonderful line of versatile jewelry for their website and social media pages. And I am now excited to be a part of a Christmas open house that Dave and France will be holding later this months. Although the show is being held on both October 31st and November 1st, I will only be there for the 1st, taking mini Christmas family photos for $5. (an unbeatable price, I know!)


Not only will Gems for you be selling their product tax free. But there will be other vendors as well such as Epicure, Thirty One and Mary Kay. Elvis will be and maybe even Santa ;). This is a great chance to start Christmas shopping. I know it seem far away but it will be here before you know it!

Choosing Your Location, Fall Addition

It's that time of year again where the weather changes and vibrant hues surround us. So looking for a place to take photos may be different than a place in the summer or winter that you enjoyed. Choosing a location that best suits you and your comfort level is important. It is good to pick somewhere that will make your session memorable and pleasing for you. Find a place that fits well with your personality and gets you to enjoy your experience. Some of my favorite places in the Fall time are Morningstar Mill, Malcolmson Eco Park both in St Catharines. As well as Firemans Park in Niagara Falls, McFarland House in Niagara on the Lake, and Balls Falls in Vineland.  Morningstar Mills is a heritage site located at Decew Falls. This site features a beautiful working mill rebuilt in 1872 and is surrounded with trees and water. You can book these deals for any time between January 2020 and October 2020 as long as your booking is complete by Next Sunday at 10pm. (contact signed and retainer paid). Newborn deals are $50 print credit for any full/standard newborn session and sessions are $400 and include 20 digital images. Typically these sessions last around 2 hours.  There is also Newborn Wrap Mini's which are $200 (regularly $250) and includes images of baby wrapped in prop such as basket, bucket or crate.
