Mommy and me Mother's day Special.

I often like to go through my old family photo albums. There are tons of photos of my sisters and I, playing, or posing in front of the Christmas tree. Very similar to most family albums. And while there are lots of images of myself and my siblings, even my aunts and grandparents, there are few of my mother. That's because she was always the one behind the camera, taking pictures of us growing up. If you are anything like her, I'm sure your photo albums and galleries are all the same.
It made me think of how nice it would be to have photos of us with my mom, and photos of just my mom and myself as well. There are so few of them. And that is where I got the idea for my Mommy and me sessions.
In honor of Mother's Day I am making it my personal mission to get mothers in front of the camera with their children! I will be holding mini mommy and me photo sessions in the studio on Friday the 29th from 10am to 5pm and Saturday the 30th from 10am till 4pm. The timing works out perfect so you will have your images right in time for Mother's day! The sessions are held by half hour intervals and includes 7 digital retouched images for $50.
No matter where you are in life, how old you are, how old your children are, how big they get, your kids will always be your babies and your mother with always be your mom. Life moments a precious and they happen so quickly. This is a Mother's day gift that just keeps on giving. Memories last a life time! Schedule a session for you and your mom, or yourself and the kids, or heck yourself, your mom AND the kids! Capture the beauty of your family that will be cherished for years to come.

To give you and idea of what I have planned I have a few sneak peaks at some mommy and me sessions that happened in the studio.

To book please see contact information below.

Time is running out so be sure to book your session NOW!

Choosing Your Location, Fall Addition

It's that time of year again where the weather changes and vibrant hues surround us. So looking for a place to take photos may be different than a place in the summer or winter that you enjoyed. Choosing a location that best suits you and your comfort level is important. It is good to pick somewhere that will make your session memorable and pleasing for you. Find a place that fits well with your personality and gets you to enjoy your experience. Some of my favorite places in the Fall time are Morningstar Mill, Malcolmson Eco Park both in St Catharines. As well as Firemans Park in Niagara Falls, McFarland House in Niagara on the Lake, and Balls Falls in Vineland.  Morningstar Mills is a heritage site located at Decew Falls. This site features a beautiful working mill rebuilt in 1872 and is surrounded with trees and water. It is a good naturalistic place to go, especially in the fall time when there are numerous colors all around you and a beautifully built mill overlooking some wate...

Frequently Asked Questions about Boudoir.

Boudoir.  It's exciting It's inciting And it's confusing and intimating all at the same time!  If you are thinking about a boudoir I'm sure you have some pretty big questions on the top of your head. That's fine. I mean it's not everyday you are standing half naked in front of a perfect stranger.  So you have questions... I've got answers. Q: Boudoir. Pornography. What’s the difference? A: Well for starters Boudoir is suggestive, while porn is... well you know. And you don’t have to be complete nude or revel anything at all when it comes to boudoir photographs. One of the most important things about being sexy is being confident. If you feel that way wearing jeans, by all means, wear jeans! Or a button down men’s dress shirt. Sure why not? Classy, suggestive, and flirty. Q: Can you Photoshop my images? A: If you would like to have say, stretch marks, a scar, that unwanted, embarrassing tattoo from when you were 16...

My favorite photos

When you do something you love, it's not really work. We all have heard that saying. And for me it is really true. For those of you who have meet me in person, you how much I love what I do and deep my passion for photography runs. Most people when they get home from work, kick of their shoes, put their feet up and forget about the day they had at work for those few hours before they head back to the office. They turn on the T.V, read a book, spend some time with the family. Any thing to take their mind off work. NOT ME. Photography started as a hobby and I transitioned it into a business years ago. So for me, during my down, one of my favorite things to do is take off with my camera and work on a personal photography project. I have done lots of these in the past and am always finding something neat to work on. I believe it keeps me on my toes and gives me new and fresh ideas to introduce into the studio for my clients, One of my favorite projects was a few years back. I as ...
