Happy Mother's Day weekend!

A mother and her children always share a special bond. And mother's have a huge impact on family, your life and shaping who you become. I know for fact that I would not be the person I am today if were not for my mother, for her support and encouragement, her wisdom and her bright spirit. No matter how big your children grow or how old you are, your babies will always be your babies and you will always turn to your mother for advice.

 Now you have probably noticed, as mother, you are always the one taking pictures, all those smiles, all of those moments in which you want to hold on to. But how often are you actually in images with your children, as side from the rare selfie? I got the idea for my mommy and me mini sessions when creating a surprise photo album for my mother. I noticed she was hardly in any images herself.
What better way to celebrate motherhood then a special shoot for you and your mother or you and your children. Or generation photos! Last week in the studio, that is what happened and let me tell you, it was magic! I am so excited to share with you some of the adorable images that were taken.

It's Mother's Day weekend! Go hug your mom, bake some cookies with your little ones. It's a beautiful spring weekend for a hike, or exploring the gardens and parks of Niagara. Family is so important and tomorrow is a reminder of that.

Choosing Your Location, Fall Addition

It's that time of year again where the weather changes and vibrant hues surround us. So looking for a place to take photos may be different than a place in the summer or winter that you enjoyed. Choosing a location that best suits you and your comfort level is important. It is good to pick somewhere that will make your session memorable and pleasing for you. Find a place that fits well with your personality and gets you to enjoy your experience. Some of my favorite places in the Fall time are Morningstar Mill, Malcolmson Eco Park both in St Catharines. As well as Firemans Park in Niagara Falls, McFarland House in Niagara on the Lake, and Balls Falls in Vineland.  Morningstar Mills is a heritage site located at Decew Falls. This site features a beautiful working mill rebuilt in 1872 and is surrounded with trees and water. You can book these deals for any time between January 2020 and October 2020 as long as your booking is complete by Next Sunday at 10pm. (contact signed and retainer paid). A great time for those photos you have been waiting and planning to capture! Even more perfect as prices will be going up slightly in the new year so this is the perfect time for great savings. Newborn deals are $50 print credit for any full/standard newborn session and sessions are $400 and include 20 digital images. Typically these sessions last around 2 hours.  There is also Newborn Wrap Mini's which are $200 (regularly $250) and includes images of baby wrapped in prop such as basket, bucket or crate.
